Well hello there.
My name is Amanda. If you couldn’t already tell, I’m currently about to undergo the trials and tribulations of attending and getting through medical school. I’m just your average 23-year-old girl from a small town in Florida moving on in life to accomplish big things. I worked extremely hard to be going to the most prestigious medical school in the nation and am so extremely grateful to have been given the opportunities that I have been given and so blessed to be at this point in my life. I couldn’t have done it alone, though. That’s where this blog comes into play. On top of my dire need to constantly have a book in my hand and/or my determination to literally learn something new every day, I have a knack for writing. Not only is it therapeutic for me personally, but it’s an incredible form of art that is far too often overlooked and forgotten about. I want to share stories of struggle, excitement, wonder, stress, and happiness as I go into this next part of my journey. I could keep it all to myself, but what good would that do?
Look out for articles written by my best asipiring PA friend, other students, and people other than me. The best part about being a human is being able to interpret and feel things differently. I want to share these as well.
